Throwback to an epic adventure, performing at the Nice Carnival in February this year with all 4 fabulous Show Globe queens together 🤩

It was a big drive for myself and Tim as we came from performing in Hull, drove the whole rig to the south of France, flew the team in to meet us, then drove back to Hull again.

It’s a good job we plant a lot of trees every month through the fabulous @ecologi_hq

Speaking of driving long distances, today myself and Tim are starting our 25 hour drive from Binz in Germany to here we’ve just finished a lovely weekend of shows, to Galati in Romania for this coming weekends shows at their street festival.

It’s a first for us, we’ve never been to Romania before either for work or play. We’re taking 3 days to do the trip and then hopefully a day of prep and chill before the first show day.

Tour life!

So, so proud that we’ve won a @royalphilsoc award for “Uprising” at @glyndebourne. How incredible it was to create this piece alongside @sinead.opera, Andrew Gourlay and the rest of our brilliant team. Preparing the 110 (!) people who made up the chorus for this incredible show was such a huge task, and will stay with me as a career highlight for a long time to come. It is so lovely to see a piece that touched so many people - both those who created it, and those who saw it - getting so much recognition ☺️

Wow what an amazing time we just had performing our Show Globe Grand Parade as part of the Nice Carnival! So many people and so much fun! 2 parades, one in the glorious sunshine for the Battle of the Flowers and then again after dark for the Illuminated Corso.

Every year the Nice Carnival has a different theme and this years was “Vive La Reine!” A celebration of woman, of all the queens and their achievements. How fabulous to have all 4 of our amazing queens present! As a female led arts company it was a pleasure to come and celebrate women in our own unique way!

It’s a magical few days for our team here in Murcia, Spain! We’re performing with both the Enchanted Flower Globe and the Living Snow Globe together at El Jardin de los Suenos which is the garden of dreams! What a perfect garden to have our Show Globe’s in!

It’s fun to have 2 of our teams here together, Jason and Elaine have joined myself and Tim. It’s especially fun for me to be able to switch to Floris after 8 weeks of confetti in every part of my clothing 😂. Tonight we switch around and it’s back into the Snow Queen for me and Elaine will be Floris for our final night of shows here. We’ll all be out enjoying exploring this super cool city tonight in celebration of the end of a very successful season of shows this year ❤️
