This past Thursday and Friday were my last two days working at MLKCH. I can confidently say it was the most bittersweet moment I’ve ever experienced. The outpouring of love and appreciation was overwhelming. Yeah, I cried a few times.

This team (and some other people un-pictured) helped form me into the nurse that I am. I truly love them. While I’m moving on to advance my career in a new specialty, I’m not really leaving them behind, I’m taking them with me in my heart where they’ll stay forever.

Besides, we have phones and Instagram.
