Today marks 5 years that I asked this little princess to be my girlfriend. I could have never imagined how much you made me grow. Thank you for being with me in good and bad times. To the next 5 years growing and comforting each other, living life and making me and you smile. Eu amo você

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day. A moment to recognise the women who paved the way before us and the ones who continue to walk beside us.

I am deeply aware that I stand where I stand today because of the women who believed in me long before certain doors were visible to me. Starting with my lifelong girlfriends, who have supported me through every phase of life. I also think about my very first manager @pmwaro. Her belief in me changed the course of my direction. Sometimes it only takes one person who sees something in you before you fully see it yourself. I would not be where I am today without her support and the many other female leaders who opened doors along the way.

That experience is also what inspired my mentoring initiative @fe.space. From the beginning I said: if I can support even one person in finding their path, it will be worth it. But as we continue these conversations, one truth remains clear. Women receive a lot of advice. What we often need just as much are people willing to open doors. Because somewhere there is a seat waiting for you that you may not even see yet.

Here’s to women, every day 💛.

Passen, eten, lesgeven, eten, supporten, trainen (en eten), lopen, kijken, voorbereiden en de allerlaatste keer eten bij mijn #1 😔

my love language is celebrating moments, just because sweet treats, dead and alive flowers, being curious about the world with smart people, laughing about dumb stuff, going to the beach in the cold, nostalgic karaoke, f1 returning, trying crafts i saw on TikTok and a million other things that aren’t physical touch

Looking back at some of my favorite event moments and saving them here as a reminder. I still often think about the TEN session we hosted with @squarespace, @emilyhinks, and @nourish_atelier discussing legacy and the deeper meaning behind what we do.

With time, I’ve come to realise that the legacy I want to leave behind is one of support, visibility, and possibility, especially for women who, like me, have felt that certain spaces weren’t meant for them. For those who’ve been told their opportunities are bound by the limits of their hometowns. I hope to keep paving the way, not just for myself but for those who need to see that they, too, belong.

Last week, our TEN members came together for an inspiring Build Your Website workshop, led by Liesl ( @thisiscuratedby ) from Curated / By in partnership with @squarespace 💻

A hands-on session full of creativity and insights, where we learned how to craft websites that truly reflect and elevate our personal brands while leveraging a smart use of the latest technologies🤎
