Salon. A gathering of people, where ideas and discussions are shared and explored in intimate settings. When you think of a salon, often, it is a place where you feel cared for, pampered, and important. Our intention is the same for these events. Priscilla and I connected through a mutual friend, and we bonded over a shared love of all things design. She helped me find my couch for the first apartment I furnished on my own. Similarly, we shared an admiration for beautiful and unique fashion pieces, including our Edas handbag. With our shared interests, we wanted to create an experience for anyone who identifies as a woman who are in love with interior design and fashion. Also for women in Seattle to connect in spaces where they can be their most authentic selves. Personally, my love of fashion has strengthened my sense of self, enhanced my feelings of joy, and helped me cultivated a loving community in a new city. I’m excited to have a dedicated space to deepen current relationships and build new friendships all while bonding over something I love. If you missed the first installment, it’d be silly not to join us on 5/30 for round two. If you made it to the first session, you already know—seriously, EVERYONE was on cloud nine.
