🎨Found another little adventure in Vietnam when my colleague and I decided to explore the city a bit. @Cohabevietnam

Coffee, paint, a little creativity ….and apparently a VERY big heart ❤️

Who knew I had an inner sculptor waiting to emerge? 😂
Stop by Cohabe Art and Coffee in Rach Gia if you ever find yourself there. Download your translator app and you’ll be good to go 😀

SOMERS SAIL

Somers Sail is a milestone piece for me.

It brings together many of the ideas that have shaped my work as HAQQ, Architectural language, Bermuda’s maritime history, fragments of currency, memory, movement, and systems of value.

I personally prefer people to experience art without too much explanation.

30x - Limited edition archival prints.
Signed and numbered.

I don’t care that this video is long.
Those who know, understand why I needed to post the entire thing.

This was a time in my life I could have never, ever dreamed of—but Kion made it happen.

In 2003, he called me and said:
“Sia! I need you to come to Boston and sing with me. The other singer in the group, we had to let her go. We have so many gigs… and we just got asked to sing at the Apollo.”

Kion knew I had his back. From Bermuda to Boston I went!

He was my duet partner… my stage husband (until Lloyd took over 😌).

I had a full-time job… and I risked it all to go sing with Kion and Blaque Pearl for three months.

Boston became my home.

Nikki (Lord rest her soul) and I were his Angels… and now, they both are mine 🤎

Singing overseas.
3rd place at the Apollo.
Winning Best New Band in L.A.

Kion, you gave me an experience I will never forget, and I will be forever grateful to you for that.

We had our moments, but our friendship was strong and it stood the test of time.

You became Godfather to A’Mel and Zè.
Always so proud of Zè for being the ladies’ favorite 😅 Telling him what a Godfather should tell him (and honestly… I don’t even wanna know).

You are going to be so deeply missed.
I can’t stop crying thinking about you, especially our last conversation (2.5 hours).
I wish we had seen each other in August… but time didn’t permit.
We love you so much, Kion.
This hurts.
I will hold onto all of it:
the weddings,
the funerals,
SiKi Productions (our one and only concert),
Gina Spence Productions (where we met),
and Vernon Temple Youth Choir.
Oh boy… the memories.

Sing, Kion, Bermuda’s Luther.
Sing on with the Angels.
Save a spot on stage for me.
I love you 🤎🕊️
