We checked out @lakecompounce Phantom fall fest. So, I do think the ticket prices are worth the visit because they have the rides open and then you can do the scare areas after 6 but, I will say parking should be cheaper because it was almost $30! so if you go late only for the haunted area, you’re paying almost your ticket price just to park. That was a little crazy to me, but that was also the only downside. The rest was super fun. You could tell they put in a lot of work. One of the lines was super long though, so be prepared to wait in the cold, we waited over a half hour for one, but the rest weren’t like that. Have you been?! #localct #ctfamily #lakecompounce #bristolct #yelpconnecticut

Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT. This wooden coaster had been named the #1 wooden coaster in the world numerous times since it first opened in 2000. Several years ago the ride received new steel Titan Track. Though it has become smoother with a glassy smooth hill on the return trip, the ride unfortunately has developed in my opinion a bit of a jackhammer effect. Have you ridden this wooden classic?

Spooktacular is here @ctsciencecenter and it’s also @ctkidspassport ‘s official Launch Party,

This is truly one of my all time favorite programs - a huge booklet of discounts to some of Connecticut’s most amazing places (think @lakecompounce , @greatwolflodge @hartfordyardgoats and SO MANY MORE). They’re organized by county and there are just TONS all over the state.

We’ll be here until 2:30, but passports are available all season long and genuinely one of the most incredible programs.

Two new videos are now up on my channel! Our New England road trip started with @quassyamusementpark and @lakecompounce. Both are small, traditional amusement parks with so much charm.

Quassy is home to Wooden Warrior, a family wooden roller coaster from @thegravitygroupllc. Lake Compounce, the oldest amusement park in America, is celebrating 180 years of historic family fun this year! The park is home to the world-class Boulder Dash and the classic Wildcat wooden coaster.

Head over to YouTube to check out both videos and follow along with our New England road trip! Stay tuned for our third park visit during this trip. 👀

Project Nightmare: An Experiment in Terror. 🩸

This was easily one of my favorite mazes at Lake Compounce’s Phantom Fall Fest! The set pieces, lighting, and effects were incredible, and the atmosphere made the entire experience that much better. This is exactly what I love about haunted attractions!

If you’re visiting Phantom Fall Fest, make sure Project Nightmare is on your list.

Would you dare to enter? 👀
