Slamdance 2026 did not disappoint. The Experimental Shorts block was incredible! I was so happy to have so many of the students who worked on “Climate Control” there for the screening. Y’all are my people. I made some new friends and reconnected with some vintage ones. LA, my heart is full ❤️

Our film ‘Mad River’ would not have been possible without the incredible support from @band_pro . During testing they suggested a lens package that perfectly fit the needs of the project, and their staff gave us insightful technical advice on building out the camera with accessories. Thanks to @kedem_talia for taking care of me in Burbank as well! Reposting from Band Pro’s Instagram.

A few weeks ago @rowan.gb stopped by the Band Pro showroom with a vision for how he wanted Dot Foster’s “Mad River” to be shot. Working with our team, Rowan was able to build a kit that balanced the practical and aesthetic needs of the project. Swipe to learn how.
