Here is my BAFTA speech in full - the important bit, that hasn’t been shown.

Also, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us, and to our colleagues who have rallied around us. And thank you @bafta and the judges for a great night and a great honour.

Our @ajpeoplepower documentary, How Social Media Helped Fuel the 2024 UK Riots, was featured on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

The film remains increasingly relevant, as social media platforms continue to play a powerful role in spreading disinformation and hate.

In our report, we attend anti-immigration rallies and cover the towns and cities impacted by the 2024 riots.

Winter has returned, and with it a part of my soul.
Maybe people outside don’t understand how that first drop of rain has a completely different taste here…
The smell of the earth, the cold breeze that wakes us up… the times that gather the family close together.

Winter in Gaza has its own beauty—and its own ache.
But even as I’m happy it’s back, my heart flinches…
because the same rain that brings ease to our chests can also hurt us.
Tents flooded, children waking up to cold water instead of warmth,
and people clinging to God’s protection from a cold that breaks bones…

Here, winter is joy mixed with fear, a beauty that never feels complete…
And in the end, I’m left wondering—do I love winter, or do I hate it?

What does it mean to archive history? For @firaselhallak, it means ensuring the preservation of sound in Lebanon’s architecture and bringing together artists to perform in these historic spaces.

Thank you for jumping into every fire with me, thank you for being stressed on shoots so I don't have too (slide two), thanks for holding the babies during interviews (and being weed on), thank you for calling me out when I dress too millennial... Thank you for guiding me through this crazy journey ❤️.

Happy Birthday habibti @lalarian, can't wait to see what the next part of this saga brings ❤️😍
