A busy spring + summer with the fine folks of @abcnews
Plenty of days at the White House and Capitol Hill with some world travel in between.

I’m humbled. Not just by this award, but by the people I get to call my teammates.

Last night the work of our @abcnews Capitol Hill team was honored with the @rtca_capitolhill Joan S. Barone award for excellence in congressional reporting.

I’m honored to work alongside them — through every overnight vote to every early am wakeup and all the moments in between.

Thank you to this team and thank you to the legendary @jonkarl for a truly gracious introduction that moved my mom to tears.

After a long month (and an even longer week) — I looked up & saw this rainbow as I was leaving Capitol Hill yesterday.

I thought what a beautiful reminder to end this month — somehow, light always knows exactly where to find us. ❤️

May is going to be great. (I’m counting on it!)

Sources say we made it to Friday (allegedly). Goodbye to whatever this week was.
