When I auditioned and managed to get cast as the lead in a hindi play, to be directed by a NSD graduate, I was super excited and wary, as I knew I had a lot of ground to cover.

The heart is full and the mind is at peace. We had 3 back to back houseful shows and the feedback recieved, has touched my heart.

"It is the spectator, and not life, that art really mirrors."

I want to take this opportunity to thank my friends and family who turned up to watch Surajmukhi aur Hamlet. You are the reason theatre survives in Dubai.

You are my treasure, my pride, my rock and my greatest love.

After doing the actual Hamlet a few months ago, this was something else.

A single act farcical absurd comedy. I was clearly pushing the envelope here and I can't thank enough the director Shekhar Kanwat sahab, who constantly pushed me and asked me to trust the process. Shukriya sir for trusting me with the lead.
If not completely, I could understand some of the method to the madness 😊

This cast was 🔥 and it clearly reflected on the feedback.

What a journey this has been.
It seems there is a limit (20) to the number of tags I can attribute to this post. Havent been able to tag several people.

You know who you are my lovelies ❤️.

✨ The Book of Will—A Story of Legacy & Dedication ✨

Last night at Alserkal Avenue, I witnessed a truly powerful play—The Book of Will. A tale of unwavering friendship and an unshakable belief in the value of art, the play follows Shakespeare’s closest allies as they fight against time, fraud, and destruction to preserve his life’s work. It’s because of their relentless efforts that we know Shakespeare today, not just as a name but through the words that shaped literature and storytelling for generations.

The cast delivered an absolutely stellar performance, bringing history to life with depth, emotion, and passion. I was especially proud to support our dear friend and phenomenal talent, Amit Vikram Ghosh @amitvikramghosh Watching him on stage was a joy, and I have no doubt he will continue to rise as an artist.

Art lives on through the dedication of those who believe in it. Last night was a reminder of that truth. If you ever get a chance to watch The Book of Will, don’t miss it!
