Dinner for 4 in 12 minutes! Whip up a salad whilst these schnitzels are in the oven and dinner’s done ✔️.

When we first started this A–Z series, I thought it’d just be a fun way to plan our weekend dates. But honestly? It’s completely forced us out of our usual routine and taken us to so many hidden corners of Melbourne we’d never thought to visit before.

It’s been such a refreshing way to enjoy the warmer weather, step outside our neighborhood bubble, and find new local favorites. Bringing our furbaby, Lyanna along whenever we can makes it even better 🐶☕️

Here’s a little snapshot of our weekend dates across melbourne suburbs A through E!

📌 Save this post to inspire your next weekend plan, and follow along as we keep exploring!

Still dreaming about these LOADED CHIPS of @lamannamelbourne 🤤🍟🔥

@melbourneitalianfesta really understood the assignment! 🇮🇹✨ Crispy, cheesy, and loaded with all the good stuff. Definitely one of my favourite food finds at the festival!
Would you try these? 👀

@melbourneitalianfesta CULTURA | CIBO | COMPARI

Days like this remind me where I come from.

Walking through the crowds, there were Nonni talking amongst themselves and others, kids running between stalls with gelato on their faces, and amici greeting each other like family. Because that’s what we are.

Our genitori and nonni brought more than recipes when they came here. They brought a way of living: sharing a table, feeding whoever walks through the door, and never letting anyone leave hungry. Seeing that alive in Melbourne, passed down and celebrated, honestly is moving.

To the organisers, the stallholders who shared their food and their stories and everyone who stopped to say ciao: thank you for keeping our culture loud, proud and full of flavour.

Such a wonderful event, and now bring on @mpitalianfesta

La cultura non si dimentica, si vive. 💚🤍❤️

The country's largest independent supermarket, LaManna, is taking inspo from infamously expensive LA grocer Erewhon for its new range of hot, ready-to-eat meals. Like the Erewhon version, you can build your own take-home pack with rotisserie chicken, sides, veggies, and sauces, but luckily, these don't come with the same scary price tag. Pair it with a smoothie, and you'll be feeling like Hailey Bieber. The expansive store, spanning over 10,000 sqm, is packed with premium pantry staples, fresh produce, and other viral items, so we have no doubt you'll fill a trolley quick smart. Send this to your foodie friends now.
