Spring Concert 2022 🟦 🟨

This band and choir has been the closest knit group i’ve ever been a part of. I feel so close to all of you guys and I’m so sad that this chapter of our lives is over, at least for us seniors.

I could not be prouder of every single person I’ve had the honor of working with this year, I love every single one of you and you all have such amazing gifts and abilities: I’m so thankful for your friendship and mentorship this past year.

I could not be prouder of my trumpet section, and Claire, I know you’re going to be a FANTASTIC section leader next year. I’m so proud of all of you and I’ve been so honored this past year to work with you guys. You’re amazing and i love you all.

I love all of you so much, thank you so much for being such a blessing in my life and for always being my people. I’m really going to miss all of you.

From almost burning down the hotel, to going home and coming back tour still has some of the most memorable moments. (Days 1 and 5 Mostly)I am so honored to have worked with such awesome people to spread the word of God. Much of this trip will be cherished and I can’t wait till next year to do it all over again.

Tour 2022 ✝️🟦🟨

I am beyond thankful to have been able to spend the past 5 days with my fellow band mates and the members of the choir. It’s been an honor touring the surrounding states and sharing God’s breath with those who might need to hear it. ESPECIALLY with the amazing group that went.

I want you all to know just how proud I am of every single one of you. You ALL put everything out there when you made music and it sounded amazing. You rolled with the punches, you had a good time, and most importantly, you witnessed the love of Christ to those we played for. You also witnessed the love of Christ to your tour mates, your chaperones, your directors, and me.

To the underclassmen, It makes me so unbelievably happy to see everyone so hyped up and eager for another shot next year. Even though I won’t be able to go with you guys, I will always cheer you on and support you. You’re an AMAZING group of people and you’re going to great things with your lives. You’re the leaders of tomorrow and you’re doing such a fantastic job already. It makes me happy to know our music program is in good hands.

To my trumpets, specifically, I could not be any more proud of you guys. Claire, Martin, Diener, Rachel, and Jenna, you guys are some of the most amazing people I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. You guys sound so good and take everything head on. There’s no one else I’d want to leave this section to than you 3 girls and andrew, y’all are FANTASTIC!

I love all of you so very much. Thank you for blessing me with your breath and for giving me the most amazing week of my life. I’m going to miss you guys so much next year, it’s so hard to say goodbye.

You guys are the most amazing group of people I’ve ever been around. Keep doing what you’re doing and being yourselves. May God bless you all in your lives and futures and allow you to breathe your love and the love of God into this world that so desperately needs it

1 year ago today, a light left this world. A light that shines bright for us all. A light that listened to a lot of music, that rode a lot of bikes, that made everyone’s day better by being their friend and brother. A light that, though gone, still casts love and joy into this world. Dawson, you were a light to us all. And tonight, we had a chance to celebrate with you and listen to music that I KNOW you loved. We could all feel you there with us tonight, and we know you’re in a better place. We are so happy for you and cannot wait to see you again one day.
