We are organising a free Halloween event/party/try-out on October 31
with @benzine_43 , @lambdasonic and a debut for Miss Minous!

The location is secret, follow along over the next few weeks to
maybe find out the location, or subscribe via the link in our bio /
DM us and we’ll send you clues to the location.

If you look closely
you can already find the first clue on the flyer! 🔍

The event will start at 8 pm and end at 1 am, so you could start
the evening with us and continue dancing elsewhere 🕺

Lots of new music, crazy beats and cheap booze…

Love to see you there! 🎃

The call for submissions, for the International Conference of Live Coding, in Antwerp, March 9-13, has been released!
The International Conference on Live Coding (ICLC) is dedicated to practices and research focused on technologies and philosophies that interpret the use of computer code and the public writing of algorithms as performative gestures. In its previous editions the community has provided valuable insights on this practice from diverse perspectives, including artistic, technical, philosophical, educational, social and political.

Attending Neighbouring Frequencies @brakkegrond in Amsterdam — a wonderful meeting point for artists, researchers and organisations working across sound art, media art, creative coding and artistic research. It is part of the #FIBERfestival.

I’m especially proud to see two alumni of @royalconservatoireantwerp here: @floris.van.der.veken and @marlieshollevoet . Their presence reflects the exciting ways in which our graduates continue to shape contemporary artistic and technological practices.

I’ll also be using the opportunity to connect with colleagues and promote the International Conference on Live Coding 2027 hosted also by @desingelartscentre and @lambdasonic which will take place in Antwerp from 10–14 March 2027 that we host together with DE SINGEL International Arts Centre and @lambdasonic . If you’re interested in the intersections of code, performance arts, visual arts and technology, have a look and mark your calenders: https://iclc.toplap.org/2027/ #ICLC2027

~ ~ C’est quoi Overview ? ~ ~

[EN] Overview is back in Overflow’s windows from April 18 until Mai 23!

// 18 April 8:30pm — Osica
// 2 May 8:30pm — Alain Wergifosse
// 16 May 11am-5pm — Workshop: DIY video synth with Gijs Gieskes
// 16 May 8:30pm — A/V Jam (welcome to everyone !)
// 23 May 8:30pm — Lambda Sonic

~ ~ What’s Overview ? ~ ~

Inspired by the concept of community radios such as The Lot Radio (NY) or Kiosk (BXL), this project transposes the concept of window-display performances into the visual realm, creating a unique synergy between urban space and digital art.

Whereas traditionally the DJ is in the spotlight and the VJ operates from the control room, here the roles are reversed: the visual artist and their live video performance take center stage.
