Some evenings don’t ask for much. A picnic blanket. Takeout containers. Music floating through the trees. A summer breeze moving through Bryant Park. Listening to it with my daughter. The @nycskaorchestra played O-o-h Child, and for a few minutes the city felt softer. “O-o-h child, things are gonna get easier…” Maybe that’s why we keep showing up—to parks, to concerts, to each other. Not because life suddenly becomes simple but because joy has a way of finding us in ordinary moments. New York has always been loud. Sometimes it’s also incredibly gentle. 🌿💛🎶

Protest is a Sacred Act. There is Hope in Action✨✊✨ Today on President’s Day people gathered all across America in every state to stand together in resistance against the fascist policies of the current Presidential regime. Today marching through the streets from Union Square to Washington Park, I felt hope emerging from the darkness of the days since Trump began implementing his systematic dismantling of our freedoms. The sun shone down on us, illuminating our path, reminding us that even in dark times, there is light. The sky above heard our intentions, our hopes & the voices of those who refuse to be silenced. Some ask—What good does protesting do? As I walked the streets of the city from Union Square to Washington Square, I looked around to see & realize something —protest is not just resistance, it is renewal. It is hope in action. It is a collective spell cast for justice, a rising tide of voices calling for compassion, love, dignity & freedom. Spirituality is not passive. It is the fire in our souls, the wind that carries our voices, the earth that grounds us & the water that cleanses corruption. To stand against fascism, to demand a better world, is sacred work. We realize our sacred connection. We are not alone. We rise together & as long as the sun still shines, hope is never lost.

Spirit animal visitation🐞✨⭕️ Ladybugs are a sign of positive change + renewal along with rebirth + fertility. Ladybugs are also thought to be signs of adaptability, resiliency + metamorphosis due to their many life stages + ability to come out of hibernation. Folklore says if a ladybug lands on you, it's a kiss of good luck. A real lovely sign at the birth of ibi mimo + the pursuit of renewing our great sacred place within @lamendonaty 😘🐞✨⭕️
