A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of collaborating with @charliehacket , research artist and lecturer at Gray’s School of Art @graysschoolofartaberdeen , Robert Gordon University, alongside the 2nd year students.

Together with my good friend @lamidi.abloh a powerful Runic artist from Nigeria ,we developed the Diaspora concept. What started as a conversation around identity, heritage and movement grew into something much deeper.

We explored what it really means to exist between cultures. To carry where you’re from into where you are. To create from that in-between space.

For me, Diaspora isn’t just an idea , it’s lived experience. It shapes how I see fashion, art and storytelling. It shapes NABA.

The energy in the room, the questions from the students, the openness to unpack culture and hybrid identity ,it reminded me why these conversations matter.

Grateful for the collaboration. Grateful for the exchange. And grateful for the opportunity to pour into the next generation of creatives.
