Just a few pics of the times and people who have made this past year the best out of 25 ♥

If you know me, you know this time last year my life did an unexpected, complete 180. A 24 year old, who thought she had her whole life planned out would never think she was going to move back home with her parents, quit her job and literally start from scratch all within 48 hours. The feeling was indescribable. Little did I know, that everything that transpired would turn out to be the best thing that could’ve happened for me. I wish I could tell myself then, the life I would soon fall in love with.

Everyone always says home isn’t a place, it’s the people and boy could that not be more accurate. I always knew Long Island was home, but it’s because of everyone who lives here.

To my parents, for staying on the phone with me hours at a time during those sleepless nights, planning my move back home, and waiting for me at the front door as soon as I pulled in, thank you.

To my friends, who showed me the life worth living, thank you. If I was crying, they wiped my tears. If I was laughing, they made me laugh harder. If I was sad, they scheduled a night in. If I was quiet, they made sure they were loud. If I needed to get out of the house, we were Ubering to Bayshore (iykyk).

And lastly to OG. Thank you for surrounding me with new friends in the most supportive community there is. I never thought I would say this but I LOVE working out now. And I can credit it entirely to the small private gym in Lindenhurst known for the post workout mirror pics🤸🏼‍♀️🪩💃🏼

If you don’t have those kinds of people in your life, I would highly recommend getting some! I am only surrounded with the most amazing people and I could not say thank you enough to each and every one of them for just simply being great human beings.

No single person should EVER make you feel like you are not worth it. No single person should EVER make you question “what am i doing wrong”. No single person should EVER have control over your happiness, and that’s a lesson I had to learn the hard way. However, it was the greatest lesson I’ve ever learned.

Love yourself first and the rest will fall into place ♥
