A day in the office… and the expenses added up FAST. 👀💸

An early start, a missed bus, a 2km walk to get my steps in, and one thing I still appreciate after 14 years of commuting in London: actually getting a seat on the train.

Then came the coffee, an economical lunch from the IGA salad bar, and a full day at work.

But the best part of the day? Dinner with the girls. 🥂

I'm on a mission to build my girl gang, and honestly, this was exactly what I needed. We went to @lanadining, found the perfect corner spot for a good old chit chat, and left with full bellies and beaming smiles.

Tbh, dining in a fancy restaurant isn't my usual routine...but it sure is a nice treat! So is finding my people, too. ❤️

So, what did this workday in Sydney actually cost me?

Such a joy seeing so many familiar faces and learning about new products that support a healthy skin barrier. I’ve already had a play. The application is luxe and the fragrance is divine.

So good to be with some of my longtime beauty friends yesterday at @lanadining to celebrate women, growing into new chapters and @aestheticsrxskincare 🤍🤍

When perimenopause and menopause hit, we can experience so many different symptoms. Declining oestrogen can bring on things like thinning hair, night sweats, irritability - and dry skin.

In fact, sometimes skin can feel so dry that it starts to itch, look red or textured (or both). A flag that we may have lost the strong skin barrier we once had.

It’s what happened to skin care expert and @aestheticsrxskincare founder Nicole Kropach. “It was worse at night,” she told us yesterday of the itching skin that would keep her up at night.

Her line of skincare is designed with women going through peri and menopause in mind. Able to help rejuvenate and nourish out-of-whack skin, these products support skin and bring it back from the brink.

I love a serum, always, and this one is particularly good at giving instant hydration. The cream works for day and night and feels like a hug on skin, while the new Neck and Décolletage Cream, which I tried for the first time yesterday, is decadently rich and prevented any hydration loss I might have experienced from running around like a mad thing yesterday. 🙌🙌

hey guys! we are back again & this time with a cute modern italian restaurant in sydney city. straight to our food reviews, as usual, starting off with entrees.
we got their focaccia with black garlic butter, the butter was unique, definitely has a strong flavour to it, but gets better as you eat it. moving on to the mains, we got their wagyu rump, murray cod, octopus ink risotto, rigatoni smoked yolk truffle. the rigatoni was my favourite main, it was flavourful, really creamy, would recommend!!! my favourite dish of the night was their potato gems, unlike your usual potato taters, they are seasoned with curry seasoning which makes it so good so addictive. we also added cauliflower dish on the side which was citrusy & creamy, helps to balance out all the protein & carbs. ending off with apple costata, like a really thick apple pie, good but can be better if their crust was flaky instead. 🍎

overall, ambience was dark, nice and spacious. it can be a bit complicated when you’re looking for the restaurant as it’s above, but it’s such a girl dinner spot.
