I have mentioned Landcasterworld to you several times in the past, but today i am here to introduce their new collection! If you aren’t familiar with the house yet, here is a brief summary: Landcasterworld was founded by a former photographer who developed a passion for oud and fine, high-quality raw materials, a true enthusiast who loves to imbue his fragrances with a soul. The brand features two collections, each consisting of three magnificent scents. Every fragrance is inspired by a specific hero and comes with a collectible token bearing that hero’s image. This new collection takes a different direction, featuring matte black bottles that lend a more mysterious, slightly gothic aesthetic to the packaging. As for the heroes, you can choose between the valiant knight, the powerful sorceress, or the terrifying skull-headed figure. Which one would you like to embody? Just like the previous collection, the quality of the juice and its unique character are simply breathtaking. With a 50% oil concentration, the performance is truly remarkable. It opens in a remarkably vivid, fresh, and citrusy way, thanks to a combination of bergamot and neroli, which adds a subtle floral touch. Olibanum also plays a key role, bringing its own citrusy quality along with some unexpected pine-like nuances. Meanwhile, saffron lends a slightly metallic edge to the opening. The fragrance then evolves into a highly complex floral heart, composed of champaca, osmanthus, and violet, each contributing its own distinct character. Champaca offers a creamy quality with fruity facets, osmanthus is sweeter, almost honeyed, with hints of leather and violet provides a powdery touch. Meanwhile, smoky, bitter tobacco blends with beeswax, which carries herbaceous and subtly animalic nuances. Finally, the fragrance rests on a base that is predominantly amber-forward, resinous, and balsamic, evoking a sense of the ethereal and the soothing.
