TOUGH LOSS FOR THE CENS

The Ayr Centennials fell 6–3 to the Port Colborne Sailors, despite outshooting them 53–24!

For the ninth straight game, Ayr opened the scoring, with goals from Mitchell and Jones-McDonald giving the Cens a 2–0 lead after the first. Mitchell scored again on the power play in the third, but the Sailors battled back to take the win.

The effort was there, but missed scoring opportunities proved costly.

The Cens enjoy a Thanksgiving break before heading to Brantford on Friday, October 16.

NEXT HOME GAME: Thursday, October 22 vs. St. Catharines Falcons!
