Landon officially became a Los Angeles County Firefighter today after spending 18 weeks at his academy, class of 179.

Landon, your dedication, hard work, and determination have led you to this incredible milestone, and we couldn’t be more proud. Watching you push through the challenges and earn this achievement has been truly amazing.

You’re going to be a great representative for your department. The sky’s the limit for you in your new career. Be safe and know that we love you!

Merry Christmas! We drove up to see @landonlassig up in Santa Clarita. He got Christmas off from the academy. A day visit with him and he’s back to the grind tomorrow. Hope everyone had a blessed day with family and friends.

We don’t get photos from Landon that often from his LACo Fire academy but we got this one and it’s pretty cool. He’s in his wild land fire training this segment of his academy. Super proud of you Landon! Keep it up son!

Stacy and I, along with grandparents extremely proud of @landonlassig who is beginning his journey to become a Los Angeles County Firefighter.

He starts the L.A. County Fire Academy on Monday. He had day zero on Friday and received all his gear. He’s worked hard to get to this point. We are extremely proud of him at what he’s accomplished at 19 years of age. His new title for the next four months will be “Recruit Lassig”.

He’s following in my Dad’s footsteps. Landon chose a different career path than me, but I’m so happy for him to carry on the Lassig name with LACo Fire Dept.

Kick some butt out there Landon! We’ll be cheering for you. 🚒🧑‍🚒
