[Hong Kong] @lanfongyuen came up alot when we were googling for a good HK milk tea spot andddd their milk tea didn’t disappoint at all. It was so smooth and velvety at the same time. No wonder so many sites said that they have the best milk tea in HK!

24 hours in Hong Kong, beyond the usual checklist.

These are some of my tried-and-tested Hong Kong haunts over the years: a cha chaan teng breakfast, wandering and vintage shopping in old Sheung Wan, spa time at one of Asia’s most iconic hospitality institutions, Hong Kong-style hotpot and a nightcap before turning in somewhere very comfortable.

A little local, a little refined, and very much the Hong Kong I know and love🤍

save this for your next visit.

Cha Chaan Teng 茶餐廳 ☕️ Bing Sut 冰室

Visited this viral cha chaan teng with my new church friends. They recently just moved here from USA, and still settling in - trying out various local cuisines like this one. The restaurant was packed with tourists, and like the Australian Dairy Company, this place shoos you out as quick as they usher you in. Also there’s a minimum $40 charge per person, or at least one drink per person ‼️

Didn’t really pay attention to the menu 😅 and just ordered something from the pictorial menu. I got the laksa pork chop vermicelli and iced milk tea for $73. It comes with the buttered bun. No extra service charge.

🐽 喇沙豬肋骨米粉、奶油豬仔包
The soup base was alright & the bun was nicely buttered & spread with evaporated milk. The pork chop I was expecting turned out to be pork cartilage.
🧦 絲襪奶茶
Loved the iced milk tea, silky smooth & sweet enough

Others:
🐓 蔥油雞扒撈丁
🐮 咖喱牛腩飯

👨🏻 btw the service wasn’t bad. although there was a bit of an internal battle between staff
