Okay…this post is definitely overdue. I’m sure a few people wondered why Langston wasn’t at the move-in day for Sterling and that was because he started his sophomore year of high school two weeks ago. And today Dominique started her freshman year of high school. Today is also Sterling‘s first day of classes at UNCSA. So, school is officially in session for everyone! We are praying God’s protection, covering and best blessings over them and over all of the youth and young adults! We are also praying for all teachers, faculty and staff! So proud of our baby boy @langstonboi ! He did a great job singing the National Anthem at the Fayetteville Woodpeckers game again tonight! He had a small but mighty cheering squad with him tonight in myself, @hooperlexii and her lovely grandmother! He continues to grow in his gift and he is letting God’s light shine bright through him! I had so much fun learning and working with so many talented artists this week at such an amazing intensive! I got to sing a solo for the incredible Megan Hilty from Death Becomes Her on Broadway and receive some great feedback, and I learned a dance from & Juliet taught by the amazing Brittany Nicholas who was in & Juliet on Broadway and was the choreographer for Stranger Things The First Shadow! I learned a fun dance from Schmigadoon taught by Josh Burrage who came straight from Schmigadoon on Broadway! It was such an incredible experience being taught by Broadway stars and I’m so grateful for Tiffany Haas (former Glinda on Broadway) for creating this program! Thank you to my parents for allowing me to be a part of this program and supporting me! I’m so thankful for this opportunity and the friendships that were formed❤️

It was short, but sweet! The Godbolt/Kelly/Mack Family took on New York City! Our super talented great nephew/cousin @trippsings is starring in an amazing production of August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone along with a cast full of amazing talent! We are soooo very proud of him! His parents and sisters were also in town so we literally had a mini family reunion! We are so grateful that our entire family was able to go and support him and enjoy the city together! This is just a snippet of our two day trip! #Broadway #WeAreFamily #GratefulForTheVillage

Proud parents over here! 🙋🏾‍♀️ 🙋🏽‍♂️Tonight, Langston served as the keynote speaker for the 8th Grade Graduation at his previous middle school. They invited him back to share wisdom on his transition to high school. Y’all! He’s already standing in front of hundreds of people using his voice to encourage and inspire! This Mother’s Day was one for the books! I’ve had an absolutely amazing day!
