When you talk about a journey, this is what you’re talking about. It was sometime around January 2025 when I woke one good day and said “Hey, I’m going to write 12 pieces of art this year and publish them on my new website.” That was when the plan to release one piece per month came to be… And oh, just how difficult it had been! I had never been one to really work on milestones and particularly crush them but can you say that about me now? I mean, I literally published 12 works - prose, short story, plays, poems and librettos - all through the 12 months of 2025!🥁🥁🥁 This is to me, firstly, reminding myself that in this new year, I’m about to unleash a better version of me. If I could do this in 2025, how much more in 2026? The world will not see me coming! Then this is to all creatives out there… you are better than you think, but the only thing that separates the YOU you are right now from the YOU you want to be is your WORKS! PUT OUT YOUR WORKS! The world wants to see it! HELL, I WANT TO SEE IT🫶🔥 I celebrate you ✨🎉❤️ P.S (One final achievement for me!🥳) My website is no longer “www.aperfectwriter.site” but “WWW.APERFECTWRITER.COM” (these designs were made much before this unexpected upgrade) Cheers to new beginnings 🥂 #aperfectwriter #newbeginnings #newyearsresolution #writerslife #newyearnewgoals

Now, let’s talk about Santa, since no one talks about him enough… Osas, a single father of three in the bustling metropolis of Lagos, is running on borrowed time to save his son. In a bid to raise a huge sum of money, Osas agrees to take a job at Ikeji Shopping Mall, the heart of the festive season, playing Santa Claus. This job is about to change his life forever in ways one will never expect… “This heartwrenching story raises philosophical questions as to what the meaning and essence of the Christmas celebration actually is, pointing to the degrading nature of present-day society and using characters, events, and variables as symbols, pointing towards a powerful message we all cannot ignore.” – Anonymous. “A must-read Christmas tale, ironically substituting the joy of the season for a moment of inner reflection.” – Critic It’s now available for free on the Perfect Writer site 👇 https://aperfectwriter.com/product/how-to-play-santa-in-lagos/ #christmasstory #freebook #lagosstories #nigerianwriter #holidayreads
