January 22nd, 2025 was a tough day. We said goodbye to our sweet Athena. She traveled the country with us and it was a joy watching her explore new places, meet new people and claim them all as her own. Celebrating her memory brought us to tears. Happy death day baby, we miss you swimming in our arms. 🥲

Figaro, Artemis, and Mozart. For a moment in time, they peacefully existed in the same room.

Mozart and Figaro are one year old today! Even Artemis joined in on the birthday celebration, though I’m pretty sure she just came out for the mousse. #catsoftiktok #catbirthday #catbirthdayparty #kittensoftiktok #catslovers #snowshoescat #tuxiesofinstagram

Here is a trace of a photo from this afternoon. After several attempts at freehand and not being able to get the perspective and proportions right , I slapped the photo in as a layer and traced out the main form. I just started using procreate, this is my second session? third? and it’s weird and fun all at the same time.

Missing my little buddy a lot today. I just want to give her a big hug, but all I can find is a lump of emotions in my throat. I would without a doubt, do it all over again and spoil you even more! Rest in Peace my little princess. March 28, 2010 - Jan 22, 2025.

Meet Missy’s new brothers!

I introduce to you, Mozart and Figaro. Mozart is a snowshoe like Artemis, and Figaro is a tuxedo.

They are the sweetest bonded pair that I have no doubts will be the perfect companions for Artemis following the passing of her sister Athena.

Artemis has been very curious about them. She’s been pawing at the door and watching them play. She’s even brought them some of her socks. We’re going to try their first introduction Wednesday or Thursday after their first vet visit.
