Spent the day at the Fort Worth Stockyards with friends yesterday. Caught the cattle drive, walked the strip, grabbed some drinks and took in the sights. Pretty fun little area that felt like a mini Nashville with bars and live music.

Top tier people watching.

2025 - I became a mommy! Watched AJ become the best daddy ever! Went to Mexico and Florida. Camped with our babies. Spent time with family and friends. And grew the best little boy in the whole world. What a year! Can’t wait for 2026. 🎇

Two months and too handsome! Had to uncuff the pants already. 📏 Little Matteato loves his mornings on the patio with his mama, sleeping with his arms up, and bath time. 🫧 Our smiley sunny loves looking at his parents, his brother and his puppies. Sweet boy, lovin’ you is all we see. 🤍

A lot can happen in a decade. There's no easy way to think about ten year's of life. For me, I mark my most important milestones in one way - Alanna.

I remember being kids and having no earthly clue what we were doing. We got off to an odd start (really, it was the best start) as we became friends, and then best friends and then....a little more than that. When I think back to the start of our time together, I remember being so uncertain about where life was taking us. I was uncertain about myself too. The one thing that I was certain about was that you made me feel like no one else. I remember warm April nights full of Colorado air so fresh it still makes my lungs tingle. I remember laughing, crying, finding new friends, losing a few others and figuring out life together. I also remember moving to Denver and feeling the weight of adulthood landing hard on our shoulders. We had nothing but the future and yet, we were so happy. I broke your heart a few times and, like an idiot, it took me a little while to realize what my heart knew all along - my person was by my side the whole time. It was ten years ago to this day that I stood outside your door, a single, grocery-store-wilted red rose in hand and knocked on your door. I remember what it was like, asking you to officially be mine at a Macaroni Grill in Littleton, scrawling my question in crayon when you went to the restroom. It makes me smile to think about how silly that was - to do it in that way, but also to do it right in between Christmas and New Years. I guess I couldn't wait. [continued in comments]
