@lantinecafe is a Chinese style cafe in Farrer Park. There are not a lot of mains to choose from but I’m glad I chose 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 ($𝟭𝟮.𝟵𝟬). I was a little thrown off by its spiciness at first, but it definitely gave the noodles a kick. They are also very generous with the ingredients (eg. taupok, fishball, beancurd skin, enoki mushroom), to the extent that I can’t finish it all which is rare. A really solid bowl of 麻辣米线! For desserts, we ordered 𝗪𝗮𝘅𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗷𝗮𝗰 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹 ($𝟳.𝟮𝟬) which is really refreshing, full of texture, and not too sweet. Maybe I am a fan of waxberry because even the 𝗪𝗮𝘅𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗜𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮 ($𝟳.𝟮𝟬) was really good - it looks like Ribena but the fragrance of the waxberry really came through. On the downside, I didn’t enjoy the 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗸 𝗧𝗲𝗮 ($𝟭𝟲.𝟵𝟬) as much as I find that the milk overpowers the tea flavour. All in all, I really enjoyed my visit to Lantine. Would love to try their other desserts next time!

tries📍Lantine | @lantinecafe overall, this cafe is such a vibe, really love the ambience!💖 i wld be back to try their roasted milk tea since thats what their famous for!!!! but otherwise their desserts are just alright🙃 swipe fr review👉🏻✨ #foodie #cafe #dessert #mochi #shaveice ⭑.ᐟ ⭐️ brown sugar mochi ($4) this had the 大白兔奶糖 taste (?) cldnt rlly taste much of the brown sugar tho but the texture of this mochi is rlly unique & i love the taroballs hehe ⭐️strawberry shaved ice with yoghurt cubes ($15) strawberry sauce was kinda sour but the shaved ice was super soft and had hints of milky taste, wasnt really a fan of the yoghurt cubes though, it also came with a mini magnum and pocky! (how cute, overall the taste is just alright but i liked the presentation🥹) ⭐️pomegranate green grape ice tea ($6.50) super refreshing drink and there were white pearls + actual grape in them! (might actl be my fav of everyth ive tried) my mochi pull failed- 😅😅 just look at the place, its really pretty~~

A hidden Chinese dessert cafe tucked away along Rangoon Road ✨ I came to Lantine twice because the desserts and drinks were THAT good. The rose roasted milk tea was so fragrant, the osmanthus latte surprisingly blew my mind, and the taro mochi? Got to try a Dessert Cafe, Lantine! 🥳 The place gives a super cozy vibe that blends minimalist design with Chinese motifs which is an Instagram-able experience. 👍🙌🏻 Here’s what we got to try at the cafe: ✨ Hot Taro Mochi: Their homemade mochi is a must try! It’s super chewy and mixed very well with taro and pearls. 😬 ✨ Peach Gum Soy Pudding: The beancurd is very soft, smooth and silky, and with the peach gum, it gives the overall refreshing taste. 🥰 ✨ Tiramisu: Love their Tiramisu! It’s rich in taste and light that literally melts in the mouth. 😍 ✨ Soufflé: We got to try their Yam and Matcha Red Bean. Their Soufflé pancakes are super light and fluffy. 🥞 ✨ Roasted Milk Tea: We got their White Peach Oolong. [Invite💌] Visited @lantinecafe to try their milk tea and desserts! Here are some of the items we tried: 🍑Peach Gum Soy Pudding: Comes with a side of milk that you can pour onto your soy pudding! Taste like a normal soy pudding! 🍵🍮Matcha Crème Brûlée: OUR FAVOURITE DESSERT!!! Took us by surprise with the taste being similar to the green portion of kueh talam. Sweet, custardy and fragrant, will definitely get this again when we come back! It was served with water chestnut pearls at the side, crunchy and light. Love it! 🫖Peach Oolong Milk Tea : Their Roasted Milk Tea is a must get when visiting Lantine! They have a range of flavour from jasmine, rose and our favourite Peach Oolong! It is served in an aesthetic pot and cute teacups. The tea was fragrant and aromatic, with a good balance between the tea and milk, kept hot with a tealight candle underneath. 🥞Oreo Souffle Pancake: They are popular for their strawberry and Taro flavours but we decided to get oreo! Cream on top was delicious but the Souffle Pancake was not as fluffy as we hoped and has an heavier eggy taste to it. In all, we would definitely be back for more to try other desserts and for the roasted milk tea!
