Tonight’s festivities kick off with this week’s Battle Of The Bands Top 6 winners: 🔥 Trivan 🔥 @LaPaille 🔥 Another Demon 🔥 Nikola's Cage 🔥 Heibekka 🔥 Soul Of Sheol Then it’s time for the MAIN EVENT... 💀 Rick Rozz OF Left to Die JOINS THE Zach Moonshine SHOW THIS FRIDAY ON Metal Devastation Radio 💀 Death Metal history is crashing onto the airwaves, maniacs. Joining The Zach Moonshine Show this Friday night is legendary guitarist Rick Rozz of LEFT TO DIE featuring original Death (Official) alumni Terry Butler and Rick Rozz alongside Matt Harvey of Exhumed / Gruesome and Gus Rios of GRUESOME. If you know underground Metal history, then you already know this is the real deal. LEFT TO DIE was formed to celebrate and preserve the raw brutality of early DEATH, diving deep into the Scream Bloody Gore and Leprosy eras while bringing those legendary songs back with the savage intensity they deserve. Now the band is preparing to unleash their upcoming album Initium Mortis on July 17, 2026, and they’ve just dropped the crushing first single “Archangel.” This isn’t some nostalgia act. This is GROUND ZERO OF DEATH METAL. Initium Mortis reaches back into the earliest Mantas and DEATH demo era material, resurrecting songs many tape traders first heard buried beneath layers of cassette hiss decades ago. Matt Harvey says the mission was simple: give these foundational songs the production and power they always deserved while keeping the spirit completely intact. And from what we’re hearing already... Mission accomplished. 🗓️ THIS FRIDAY ⏰ 8 PM CST / 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST Turn it up loud enough to wake the dead. 🤘💀 What you need is located in the comments: #MetalDevastationRadio #ZachMoonshine #LeftToDie #RickRozz #DeathMetal #OldSchoolDeathMetal #ChuckSchuldiner #DeathBand #TerryButler #MattHarvey #GusRios #Leprosy #ScreamBloodyGore #ExtremeMetal #UndergroundMetal #StayLoud

@lapailleband - Caduceus: The Twin Serpents On February 27, 2026, La Paille unleashes “Caduceus: The Twin Serpents” — and it hits like a silver blade through the heart of modern metal. Known for intricate world-building and dark aesthetics, La Paille steps decisively into Alternative, Symphonic and Industrial Metal territory with a track that feels both violent and sacred. “Caduceus” is an aggressive, high-speed odyssey where romantic-era orchestration collides with razor-sharp industrial production. Every detail was meticulously shaped under a strict human creative vision — from occult symbolism to arrangement, sound design, and final DAW post-production. This is not random noise. It is precision. Inspired by the symbol of the Caduceus — two serpents entwined around a staff — the song explores duality in its rawest form: venom and life, protection and destruction, devotion and hidden power. The result is a composition that feels ritualistic yet explosive, theatrical yet brutally modern. Personally, this track is incredibly powerful and instantly reminded me of the sonic intensity of Children of Bodom and Wintersun — two bands that mean a lot to me. The mixing and production are beautifully executed, and the songwriting is complex and ambitious, packed with odd time signatures and riffs that interlock perfectly. The vocal performance alone could compete with the best in the genre. As a true metalhead, it’s impossible not to appreciate the craftsmanship here. The level of detail, the precision, the technical competence — everything is executed flawlessly. La Paille proves that independent metal can be visionary, intricate, and absolutely world-class. #AlternativeMetal #SymphonicMetal #IndependentMetal #obliq____ #obliqmusictaste
