POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Making music so I can choreograph to it and say exactly what I mean to say with my words, body, and spirit feels like the most vulnerable I could possibly get. And yet it barely scratches the surface of the depths of expression that are continually demanding my attention. I get out of my own way and let it flow as much as possible. I wrestle with myself, the nun in my subconscious trying to punish me for taking up space and wanting more, and the sheer will to supersede all traces of playing small to placate the patriarchy.

Ya. Enough.

The narrative is in our hands always in the here and now and I am writing new stories with everything I got. In English, Spanglish, body language and whatever other materials I can get my hands on.

The last days of summer. Out of drag and back at the ranch. Hosted my friends at the cottage, drove to the river, and had us a good swim. Saw practical magic 2 opening night at the mall, as we cried and held hands and giggled like silly girls. It was a perfect sequel. Tended to my garden and within one month and 1 full moon cycle, my vegetables are growing wonderfully. 🌶️ 🥬 🍅 🫑 🥒

𖤓ૐ LA PALMITA × VALERY ALICIA
RECOVERY DAY𖤓ૐ

A thoughtfully curated space to slow down, unplug from the noise, and simply be—surrounded by calm, care, and community.

This gathering was our way of giving back and expressing our gratitude for the love and support you’ve shared with us over the years.

꩜To us, movement in every form is a practice of mindfulness, self-care, and well-being—nurturing both body and mind. Bringing my background in health into this community and weaving it together with dance felt deeply meaningful, and nothing short of magical. ꩜

Thank you for trusting 🤍DIVINE HEALING🤍
