Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC.

Gallery hours are noon to 6 pm, Wednesday through Friday, noon to 4 pm, Saturday and Sunday.

Big summer energy! When I was out in Toronto I heard from a few people that saw Skratch Bastid’s quote on the back of my book that they didn’t know he had a Winnipeg connection. Well, among other things Bastid produced the album “Taking Care of Business” for Winnipeg rappers Pip Skid and John Smith, including the high energy single “I Ain’t Lazy.” The song’s video was directed by former Winnipegger (now a successful documentary film director) Jason Lapeyre, with the video taking the viewer through a busy day in the life of the two rappers
