Take time out to breathe. Take out time for gratitude. Take time out to be.

I am an observer. I am an active listener. I am in therapy. I am med compliant. I have studied mental health for decades & I have several mental health disorders. I am also a recovering perfectionist.

One thing I have learned that remains consistent: no one truly has it all together. It’s ok to not be ok. It’s ok to let yourself feel your feelings. It’s ok to talk about your feelings It’s ok to cry.

M E N hear me & listen when I say this.
Imagine the sound of my voice in your head as you read this: It is ok to cry. I’ve held your tears before & honored your vulnerability. Crying is a sign of strength; not weakness.

We heal ourselves when we share our life experiences with others. We heal each other when we hug. We heal ourselves through community. We heal ourselves through therapy.

Your mental health deserves attention every day. Talk to one another. It may be the conversation that sticks with you or another and fills you with the type of gratitude you remember whenever you are experiencing a tempestuous time.

Be kind to yourself. Make sure you give yourself the same amount of grace you freely extend to others ,if not more.

Love yourself. You are worthy. You are enough.

Gratirude. For the first time,in a long time, I am experiencing genuine love.

Ephinaies: I don't like wearing shoes. I enjoy sleeping on couches because they make me feel as though someone is comforting me. My village, my tribe are all highly intelligent & vibrational. Blessings & healing come in the most unexpected ways. I am able to abide in my flow state. Ain't nothing like being naked in solitude especially while dancing in the rain.

Lastly, my ass is so much bigger than I thought. I experienced a lot of navigational issues because of it. Can I get a reduction? Maybe donate to someone with a severe case of Noassatall?

Protectors?
Where & who?
Just because you say something,
Does not make it true .
Because when I look,
I don't see them anywhere.
Do you?

Neither proactive or reactive.
While there are plethora of misogynistic rappers,
Proponents of toxic masculinity podcasters,
Men shooting balls into baskets,
Gun violence silencing voices.
Reducing lives to lifeless bodies encased in closed caskets.

Prayers & condolences offered as if they are the solution.
I tell you the answer for child molesters & abusers is swift & severe justice,
One that ends in execution.

There is zero accountability.
Even amongst these so called Black activists, Christians & spiritual brothas who pander to women,
Only to exploit their vulnerability.
I speak from experience.
It has happemed to me.

& It's not surprising that N O N E of you even bothered to showup to support Chairmen Faheim.
He has done more than all of you put together,
To protect the community.

I can not walk down the street without being harrassed.
Men commenting on my bodty,
The size of my ass.
None of this is new to me,
I experienced it even as a child.
While the men who were witnesses did nothing.
They just keep on passing me by.

My situation is far from unique.
Many Black girsl experience the same thing.
& while we are on the subject,
Not enough people are demanding answers as to why so many kids are missing.
Or why Ohio has one of the highest rates of sex trafficking.

Y'all cried when Lebron took his talents to Miami.
It's a travesty that more tears were shed then.
But when attrocities are happening to children,
You do not even have the heart to defend them.

How dare you call yourself a man.
When you ain't nothing more than a F A N.
Yes, I am livid.
& I wish more of you were too.
Yes, I know it hurts your feelings,
When a Black woman tells the truth.

I tell.
I name names.
Prepare yourself for my verbal assanation.
Get your affairs together.
Eternal hell is your final destination.

No. More. Secrets.
