I am BEYOND excited to be welcoming David Bauer from @farmandsparrow for TWO very special cooking class lunches at the Barn! 🌾🌽🥖

November 13th Heirloom Corn Cookery 11a-3p
November 20th Baking with Stoneground Flour

Space is very limited and if you care about cooking with beautiful local ingredients and supporting small farms then you don’t want to miss this.

* you don’t need to be a skilled baker to enjoy, learn and be inspired by David’s story + life-changing ingredients!

We’ll be pouring @riseoverrunwines from @lapostenc (owned by David’s super cool wife, Kate!)

Sometimes, the best thing you can do for your creativity is simply change your view. ⛰️🍂

After a few days in the Appalachian Mountains, I’m heading home feeling refreshed, recharged, and overflowing with inspiration.

There is truly nothing quite like stepping away to reset the soul. Taking in the grandeur of the mountains, watching the leaves quietly begin to change hue as they welcome a new season, and discovering creeks flowing over rocky beds around every turn—it was the perfect reminder to slow down and simply take it all in.

Of course, inspiration seemed to find us everywhere along the way! We lingered in beautiful shops filled with inspiring interiors and antiques, enjoyed an impromptu wine and cheese stop along the way, and finished our trip with lunch at The Ruffed Grouse—by far one of my absolute favorite places for interior inspiration.

Honestly, I could have moved right in. From the richly painted walls and weathered leather upholstery to the unexpected pop of a saturated raspberry settee, portraits, and taxidermy displayed throughout, it was filled with so many of the things I love—all layered together in one wonderfully collected space.

Sometimes all it takes is a change of scenery, a little fresh air, and the opportunity to see something new to come home feeling inspired again.

So tell me…what do you do when you need to reset, recharge, and find a little fresh inspiration? 🍃
