A sonic assault of blackened hardcore. Drenched in dissonance and driven by raw, unbridled aggression.

@skullgatehc : Coming all the way from Ottawa, ON, Skull Gate thrashed us up with metal. Heavy screamed vocals over Metallica styled guitars, these guys gave us a fast 20min set.

@lapsaria : With the band on stage, frontman @jimbodahimbo took control of the floor like a mad man. He screamed his lungs out with a lively performance. The guys on stage also rocked hard but made sure they were playing as a unit. I love how a poster called them Blacked Violence cause that makes sense after seeing them live.

@scorchingtomb : Combining older death metal with hardcore, Scorching Tomb gave us a powerful sound coming all the way from Quebec which is home to so much great death metal. These guys knew exactly what they wanted and delivered a chaotic set. I think out of all the bands ST got the most fan participation.

@apesqc : My go to band for the gym, I was excited to see Apes perform live. It was just crazy grinding hardcore music that just never let up. Apes hit the crowd hard like a tsunami and just kept coming at us. After the set I had to buy their CDs/cassette.

@rusthxc : Local hardcore band, Rust ended the night with a bunch of 2 stepping tracks that got people moving. Frontman @mparsram kept encouraging fans to move to the final set of the night. The music was everything you would expect and love from a metallic hardcore band. And side note it was great talking to Mike who I didn't know was in Street Justice who I had met years ago.
