Happy Valentine’s Day 💌

A huge thank you to everyone you came out to LOVE, SEEN last weekend.

A series about witnessing — allowing yourself to be held in frame. Feeling seen. Felling loved.

To everyone who stepped in front of our lens: thank you ❤️

Huge gratitude to our sponsors @bombas and @adanne.co for helping us create a space that felt warm, intentional, and community-centered.

Hi BWP family, I’m Trè, an event, portrait, and fashion photographer based in NYC. Here are my favorite images from 2024.

I chose these photos because they emulate everything I want to feel while looking at a photograph. Joy, fun, love, excitement. Being an event photographer in NY is so fun because you never know what rooms you’ll end up in. I also chose photos that are more personal to me, as this year I leaned into more personal creative projects; shoots with my community and close friends, moments with my family when I just so happened to have my camera.

If you’re looking to get your start in event photography, remember the importance of maintaining good relationships. A lot of my connects come from people I’ve worked with or met in the past that I’ve maintained a good rapport with. DM venues, reach out to marketing and PR connects on LinkedIn. Like any skill, it gets sharper the more you practice, so in between events be sure to prioritize those personal shoots. And create work for the heart - work that truly showcases who you are as an artist.

Q and I met up in the park this day, wanting to shoot but not knowing exactly what to shoot. Sometimes, you have to allow the universe to lead.

As a photographer, I’m very organized and love schedules, a treatment, and (multiple) calls before a shoot. But this day we just met in the park and played around.

These are the results 🌱
