during the @re.anima.emjmd programme, I lived in Lisbon for a year to develop my animated documentary surrounding the local lgbt community. I was doing research, interviewing, hosting creative workshops, attending community events, making friends. Lisbon has a vibrant community of queer artists who jumped at the chance to collaborate and made this film possible. the stunning collages you’ll see in This Feminine Side were made by @lara_is_doing_it and @ericaadiana using pictures of the city by @myrlima.lab #animation #collage #lisbon #lgbtcommunity #documentary

what would Lisbon look like as a collage? these stunning views of the city were made using pictures by photographer @myrlima.lab which were deconstructed and reworked by designers @lara_is_doing_it and @ericaadiana to create some gorgeous establishing shots for my animated documentary This Feminine Side 🌸 so grateful for the amazing team of creatives who worked on this film 🖤 . . . #animation #collage #aftereffects #adobe #digitalcollage #animator #cutout #lisbon #documentary #documentaryanimation #design

I present to you the result of my 2 years in the Re:Anima program. 🎥This Feminine Side Set in Lisbon’s vibrant LGBTQ+ art scene, this animated documentary layers voices, textures, and colours to explore femininity beyond the binary. Built through interviews and collaborative workshops, the film becomes a living collage— where femininity is not fixed, but fluid, reimagined through community, creativity, and playful mixed-media animation. So thankful to everyone who collaborated and participated, the Lisbon community is truly something special ❤️‍🔥 An animated documentary by @twistedpasta Animation: @felipekenjigomes @nardito.o @itsanappl Collage art: @lara_is_doing_it @ericaadiana Sound: @gab_worm @miguel_colimao Production: @re.anima.emjmd What festivals should I send it to? 🌸 . . . #animation #documentary #documentaryanimation #animation2d #framebyframe #erasmus #erasmusmundus #adobe #aftereffects #photoshop #procreate #collage #animationfestival #shortfilms #shortfilmfestival #queer #queerart #lgbt #lgbtq #queerfilm
