Navratri Day 9 :Maa Siddhidatri: The ninth and final form of Goddess Durga.

Meaning: Siddhi means supernatural power or meditative ability, and Dhatri means giver or awarder. She is revered as the bestower of spiritual wisdom, divine grace, and the fulfillment of all wishes.
🦚🦚
Colour: Peacock Green, which represents growth, harmony, renewal, calm, and devotion.
🦚🦚
Mantra: Om Devi Siddhidatryai Namah (ॐ देवी सिद्धिदात्र्यै नमः).
🦚🦚
Traditional Bhog: Sesame seeds, seasonal fruits, coconut, and traditional sweets (alongside halwa, puri, and black chana for Kanya Puja).

I offered rice kheer ( paal payasam)
Flowers All kinds of flowers from my garden.

Saree of the day : A peacock 🦚 green & peacock blue kanjivaram silk saree with veldhari lines and a floral motif pallu from chettinadu handloom. Pic 10 will clearly show the peacock green in good day light .

Blouse is a closed neck blouse with a broad zari border with some chunky gold bead like danglers made beautifully by Dear Sonu at Muttiyar boutique.

I wore my blue sapphire peacock pendant , blue sapphire studded peacock jhumkas and blue sapphire studded bangles all set in gold.

Navratri Day 8: Maa Maha gauri: The eighth day of Navratri is dedicated to the worship of Maa Mahagauri, the eighth form of Goddess Durga, celebrated on Durga Ashtami (Mahashtami).

I offered white chrysanthemum and coconut for Maa Mahagauri

Saree of the day is a " varisaipettu " saree in purple 💜 with gold zari lines alternating with silver buttis with a copper sulphate blue border which has a satin finish.. Pallu is a grand one in coppersulphate colour .

Blouse is a sleeveless blouse with strap like thing at the back which has several lines of zari embroidery made by Dear Chukka at her boutique vasthara Chennai.

I wore my elakathali necklace in gold and elakathali earrings and changeable bangle from Sthreesoundaryam.

A copper sulphate bindhy and a purple 💜 lipstick 💄 completed my look.

Navratri Day 7 Maa Kalratri The seventh day of Navratri is dedicated to Maa Kalaratri the fiercest and most powerful form of Goddess .

Saree of the day is a elephant 🐘 Grey self kanjivaram with gold buttas all over the saree and simple palla . I am falling in love with Grey these days . Its a beautiful drape and can be worn for simple occasions or even for formal meetings .

Blouse is a high neck blouse which is a made without sleeves by Dear Sonu with a small slit like opening in the front .

Navratri Day 6: The sixth day of Navratri is dedicated to Maa Katyayani, the fierce warrior form of Goddess Durga. [1, 2]

Goddess: Maa Katyayani, who was born to the sage Katyayana and slew the demon Mahishasura.

Significance: Represents courage, protection, inner strength, and the destruction of negative forces or obstacles.

Bhog (Offering): Honey is the traditional offering alongside fruits, yellow sweets.

Color: Green 💚

My saree is a rich emerald green borderless kanjivaram with double palla ( 2 colours one rust orange and the other pink)
Its got zari buttas on the palla and a thin zari line running as a border .it's simple yet striking .Concept of double palla is very new and this is my very first one .

Blouse: it came with an attached blouse which is exactly like the pallu with rust orange and pink .
I am yet to get it stitched because I have been stitching blouses for navratri with 3 designers and this saree came last and so decided to get it stitched later .

I have tried this saree with a pink and gold cut work blouse
( pic 1 to pic 5) along with a pink clutch to match with the pink palla

I have also tried a rust orange sleeveless blouse ( pic 6 to pic 10) along with an orange clutch to match the orange palla.

Accessories: i wore my diamond and emerald set ,necklace ,bangles and ear rings .
