Started this page 6 years ago as an account of the universes that opened up to me when I started looking into how agaves arrived to Lebanon. Over the years the project grew into an exploration of how plants became mobile assets, traded and transported across worlds, and how, after decades finding affinity in the landscape of Lebanon, agaves bloom beyond human imaginary and design to live and multiply on their own terms. 🌬️🍃🏔️🌦️🌱

Big thank you to @ashkal_alwan and @chris_tohme for inviting me to show this work alongside @aymanisk and so much love and appreciation to everyone who came out and supported along the way.❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

the lemons just keep comin!

it’s been in ages since I posted here 🥲
i was burnt out after trying to stay afloat during the war, and haven’t had a studio since March…

but this project was born from tough circumstances, so it’s actually quite fitting to pivot again at the whims of the universe: i am moving back to Greece, where this all began 3 years ago exactly 🍋🍋🍋🍋

huuuge thx to everyone who’s supported!
love you with all the sweetness of summer citrus ✨
