Our Higher Dancers have been putting in the final preparations this past week for their practical exam tomorrow! ✨

Our community often sees the hard work that goes into performances and competitions, but behind the scenes these dancers are also dedicating countless hours in the studio. They’ve been perfecting solo performances in contrasting styles, creating original choreography from stimulus, and developing their knowledge of dance culture, contextual studies, and professional choreography analysis.

It’s all part of building a truly well-rounded dance education — and we couldn’t be prouder of their dedication and commitment. 💫

Here they are in jazz, getting in some final solo practice ahead of the exam.
Join us in wishing them the best of luck tomorrow!

A flash back to the end of term in Jazz Technique with some of my New Higher and HNC Dancers. I hope everyone’s enjoying the summer but still keeping up their dancing. Remember it’s important to keep dancing and practicing through the holidays to maintain strength and flexibility and carry on in the new term, at the very least where you left off. If not with more experience and knowledge from summer schools and intensives.
Only 2.5 weeks left of Summer, who’s still dancing? #training #summerschool #technique #dance #flexibilty #power #strength #stamina #trainhard #knowledge #intensive #performance #whataboutus

✨ Last year, senior dancer Alyssa wowed us all with her breathtaking lyrical solo – taking home the Overall Winner’s Shield 🏆 at our Choreography Competition! She then went on to shine at the Central School Dance Competition, where she claimed 1st place 🥇💃

Here a video of her performing her winning solo in our Winter Showcase. This year, the spotlight could be yours… 🌟 Will you be the one lifting the shield?

🔥 Don’t miss your chance – entries close this Friday!
