Cyrus of Nara, you guys. Nobody deserves this man. You hear me. NO ONE. Not even Alizeh. Cyrus is a fucking saint. I’ll die on that hill. 💪

I don’t think I’ve ever ached this bad for a fictional man the way I ached for Cyrus. 🥹Tehereh Mafi took tortured sad boy to a whole other dimension. I don’t think I’ll ever stop gushing about him.

This book picks up where book 3 left off and we’re immediately plunged into such cruel torture. I love Alizeh but tbh I was mad at her for most parts of this book. Like really mad and I was fucking livid at Kamran. This book was like a character assassination for him. I think the only person that kept me sane was Hazan.

I love how there was an unsual camaderie between Hazan and Cyrus. How he tried to put some sense into the others around him. And one of my absolute favorite scenes was seeing Cyrus interact with his dragons. They are sassy AF but I sobbed when I learned how they had come to trust him like that. 🥹

I’m still a bit pissed at that ending though. The only way I’ll be happy is if everyone freaking apologize to my man and I might need some groveling, this time from Alizeh. Yeah. I’m sticking up for my man. Sorry, I’m just mad at the injustice done to him. 🥹

I need book 5 like I need air. Pick up this book darlings. You need to meet Cyrus. I want you all yearning for him. 🙏

Sorcery. 💫 That’s what this book felt like to me. Because I just couldn’t put this down. I was drowning ecstatically in Tahereh Mafi’s prose.

Tahereh Mafi made me yearn for a Cyrus POV for two whole books and she absolutely delivered in book 3. Could he be any more of a “torutured sad boy”?

Tbh, plot wise not a lot has happened and I can actually narrate the first three stories to you in under an hour but where’s the fun in that? Don’t you wanna witness

🤎 Cyrus being the absolute yearner of the century. Put him out of his misery please. 😭
🤎 Alizeh still trying to figure it all out- how to be a Queen, how to get all the resources, the best strategies and most importantly trying to figure out the mystery that is CYRUS.
🤎 Hazan being the only sane person of the group and his unconventional, unexpected secrets with Cyrus. ( Who would’ve thought )
💔 Kamran being an ass. Yup, I officially hate him. 😖
🤎 Huda being as unfiltered as always.
🤎 Omid is gonna melt you everytime he addresses someone as “miss”
🤎 Oh, also THE DRAGONS! They talk you know. Well, they talk with Cyrus and they are sassy and snarky. 😉

If you’re looking for a YA fantasy with the best yearning, a tragic backstory that absolutely sells- this one’s for you. Pleasseeeee pick it up.

Túto zakázanú lásku Vám určite odporúčam. Už od prvého dielu som si to zamilovala a tešila som sa ako dej sa bude vyvíjať.

A musím povedať, že nie som vôbec sklamaná. Ba prevýšila moje očakávanie.

Úprimne po konci tohto dielu neviem, čo mám očakávať. Nutne potrebujem pokračovanie. Dúfam, že sa ho dočkáme, čo najskôr.

Milujem zakázanú romantiku. A tu bola perfektná. Nemám jej, čo vytknúť. Všetko bolo úžasné.

Dokonalá YA romantasy a zakázaná láska, ktorú Vám určite odporúčam. Prídete si na svoje.

Páči sa mi fantasy svet. Ešte musím pochváliť autorkinu predstavivosť. Má prepracovaný svet.

Určite si od autorky nenechám ujsť žiadnu jej sériu. Už mám objednanú Shatter me, na ktorú sa moc teším.
