Four days. 14 Lomi Lomi practitioners. I’ve just finished hosting our Lomi Lomi Ohana gathering here in the heart of Avalon ~ bringing massage therapists together to share, learn & receive.

Lots of four-hand Lomi. Giving and receiving. A beautiful workshop with Dan Joy exploring Lomi Lohi ~ a slow, deeply regulating form of Lomi Lomi centred around nervous system co-regulation.

Amazing food. Movie nights. Deep heart shares. Tears. Laughter. Moments of being truly seen, heard, felt and held, on so many layers.

A space where we could soften, connect & remember why we do this work.

My heart feels very full.

Thank you to the beautiful humans who made this gathering what it was.

I’m so excited for next time. 💙✨

Forgiveness is a gift we give ourselves—a way to release what no longer serves us and invite peace into our hearts. In the ancient Hawaiian tradition of Lomi Lomi, forgiveness is more than a word; it’s a practice rooted in deep connection, love, and healing.

This sacred prayer of forgiveness calls on us to let go of pain, resentment, and fear, creating space for compassion, harmony, and growth.

Allow the words and intention of this prayer to wash over you, like the waves cleansing the shore. Forgiveness is not always easy, but it is a powerful act of self-care and transformation.

Gua Sha facial massage is an ancient practice with modern benefits, perfect for elevating your skincare routine. Here’s why this gentle technique is worth adding to your self-care rituals:

1. Boosts Circulation - Gua Sha helps increase blood flow, bringing oxygen and nutrients to your skin, resulting in a healthy, radiant glow.

2. Lymphatic Drainage - It supports your body’s natural detox process by reducing puffiness and removing toxins through lymphatic drainage. Say goodbye to under-eye bags!

3. Lifts and Sculpts - Consistent use can help tone facial muscles and promote a more sculpted, youthful appearance.

4. Releases Tension - Relieve facial tension from clenching or stress, especially around the jaw and forehead, leaving you feeling calm and refreshed.

5. Enhances Product Absorption - Pair with your favorite serum or facial oil to help your skincare products penetrate deeper for maximum effectiveness.

6. Promotes Skin Health - Over time, Gua Sha may help improve skin elasticity, smooth fine lines, and even out your complexion.

Take a moment to nurture yourself with this soothing ritual. Your skin and mind will thank you! 🌟
