Last night was special to me in more ways than one. 🖤🎬 Getting to experience a double movie premiere for Nice Was a Choice is a moment I’ll never take for granted. Every step of this journey has meant something, and to see the work come to life on the big screen is a feeling that’s hard to put into words.

I’m grateful for the opportunity, the experience, and everyone who’s been a part of this journey. This is what it’s all about — trusting the process, believing in the vision, and watching it all come together. 🙏🏾✨

I’m learning to praise God in the middle of the storm. Last week, I lost my job. My income changed overnight and I found myself questioning how everything was going to work out. But even in the middle of trying to figure out what’s next, I kept showing up and trusting God with the things beyond my control.

Yesterday, I experienced a moment that meant more to me than words can explain. Seeing my work come to life on the big screen reminded me why I keep going. Playing Pennie in Camera Girl, starring in Nice Was A Choice, and receiving a producer credit on Nice Was A Choice are milestones I will always cherish. And guess what?! Nice Was A Choice is on Amazon Prime right now !!

I’m beyond grateful to the cast, crew, @timothylens @w3filmedit for trusting me with these characters and allowing me to be part of bringing their vision from the page to the screen.

Matthew 6:26 reminds me that if God takes care of the birds of the air He will take care of me too. So even when life feels uncertain I choose faith over fear and obedience over worry.

This season may look different than I planned but I’m still showing up.
