It’s March of 2010, my first full season working on a ski film. A lot of trial and error on all fronts during the season made me understand just how hard it is to make things happen in this realm. I’m in Ottawa filming with good friend and Qc legends @larry_gram and @mike_ness . After a trip hitting multiple spots per day and being as tired as it gets, we head to this classic spot for one last session before heading back to montreal. Laurent was already a legend on the scene at that point in time and showed me what it takes to get a shot that’s worth it. He pushed through bad snow that was melting, a few bad falls and a long battle that lasted the whole day. He stayed calm and kept at it (as always) until one shot late in the afternoon where he got it almost perfectly. Did he settle for that? Hell no! He hiked backed up quickly and said “this one will be the good one”. He got the 270on to switch perfectly and afterbanged with authority.

Thanks for being a mentor Larry, stoked to look back on this
