Here's a little BTS from our adventures on #superman2025 we used lots of different tools throughout. It was a blast using #theartofcameramovement to help make the flying scenes as believable as possible. In this scene we double teamed with our #cinergyetv and #lightcraftdrone i gotta admit I had a big grin on my face the whole time I was driving. #ilovemyjob more to come. #cinemoves #matrix4axisgimbal #directorofphotography #keygrip #griplife #superman #local80 #local600

I had the most insane experience of my career last year working on Gladiator 2. Can’t believe it’s finally out. Don’t think I’ll ever experience anything like it again.

Thanks to Dave Wells for taking me on board.

Thanks to @adamtsan1 for being a shit hot crane swinger.

Thanks to all the grips and standbys in Morocco and Malta for making it happen.

Thanks to @petercavaciuti for asking me to join him as A Cam dolly grip, was a pleasure to work with him and to experience Ridley together..

And thanks to Sarah and the kids for letting me disappear to film this crazy movie.

Flying back home after a flying visit to Servicevision Scorpio in Barcelona.
A big thank you to Pedro Povill for giving us the opportunity and for his very generous hospitality.
I’d also like to thank Ruben & Gerard for all their time they generously gave to us, training us on the Scorpio cranes heads & the electronic mobile base, over the 3 days.

Day 2: Hollywood Studios, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, costume 2 of 2!

As I said before in my last post that I was going to take not just 1 but 2 costumes with me and wear them not only inside Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, but all the way through the Hollywood Studios park......

It was another absolutely baking hot day and I was sweating like a fat bird in Greggs bakery inside of my Clone Trooper helmet, but not quite as bad as my Wookie Onesie the day before, where I had bad case of disco minge after wearing that furry costume in the baking hot sun.

Yet again I had a mixture of strange looks & smiles from both adults & children, but mostly Star Wars fans congratulating me on a good effort for wearing my Clone Trooper costume, however much to Maria’s dismay & embarrassment for enduring my Cosplay for the second time around in public.

I then got encourage to go right up to the front of the stage, in front of the First Order Stormtroopers & Kylo Ren, by the growing crowd gathered in front of Kylo Ren’s TIE Echelon. Unfortunately I could not communicate back to the First Order characters onstage because I had forgotten to bring my Stormtrooper microphone headset & speaker, so I just had to listen and play along.....

From today onwards we will no longer be referring to what was formally known as the ‘Russian Arm’!❌ The new official name is now the ‘U-crane’ ✅

In honour & respect of the country of its origin and to all the Ukrainian engineers who built this world famous piece of filming equipment, who are now fighting on the front lines in the Ukraine. 💪
