Late night dig brings this early 00s deep house gem from Needs music’s maestro @larsbartkuhn.

Next level hypnotic deepness and those relentless chords don’t let go. Essential!!!

This is episode 100 of our radio show, no small feat and we’ve decided to play songs from our catalog to celebrate. 💯 🥳

There’s a lot of material, and we’ve devised a simple strategy to make it easier to navigate — we’re moving backwards in time, from our last release to our first, although we only touch on 11 albums in this episode. 🎢

As some of you may have noticed, our label has been on hiatus for the better part of a year, while Naomi and I are finishing up graduate studies and raising a family. We’re not sure exactly what the future holds for the label, but we’re keeping the future open. 🔮

Biggest love to all who joined us on our journey. 💚

In the bag this weekend for @gilesesmith at @movers.venue Nottingham… raiding the NEEDS / @larsbartkuhn section of the collection. Three early chuggers from 1999-2001 in the early days of the label, plus a remix of the legendary Playin’ 4 The City.

We’re going to need a Pt2 and 3 to even scratch the surface here of one of the most genius producers of house music ever… but these three will fit just right to a dancefloor still doings its stretches. Unmissable deep house music…

The magnificent London label that is @househeadldn invited over a true #chicagohousemusic legend for a 3 hour set last month @lowerthirdsoho which was full of absolutely brilliant deep soulful gems with this track @djrontrent being the absolute highlight for me also featuring the unsung underground genius that is @larsbartkuhn .. As he says IF IT AINT SOULFUL WE DONT DO IT !! @bridgeportrecords312 what a tune man ! Massive respect to @lee_the_captain @keith36663murray and everyone at the label for believing in the music wholeheartedly! Look out for their top quality releases and upfront forward thinking events this year and come out and support !
