GN027: Sniffany & The Nits - Best of Luck

7”s up for preorder and A-side streaming now

Release show July 25th at @thegeorgetavern with @the_dogs_punk and @lash___band 😗🤌 tickets up now

The band took a forced hiatus after Max was briefly obliterated by a speeding car. The album was booked to be recorded the week after the explosion… but I suppose there were bigger fish to fry. After equipping him with an Inspector Gadget style device 18 months later, the second LP was recorded ASAP.

Best of Luck is the first taste of said album, which has seen the band augment their girl-abjection-gothic-pogo sound with elements of black metal synth eeriness, sonic youth groove, and Christian Death inspired goth rock.

“The song Best of Luck celebrates being as thick as a stump and too self absorbed to be able to be manipulated, a totally immovable object deflecting psychic attacks.” The B side, and non LP single exclusive, sees the band deliver a viscous rendition of the underrated Rowland S Howard jewel - Hyperspace by his late 80s group These Immortal Souls

A few more 35mm shots from @strange_glue of gigs from this year. Featuring Puffer, Lash, Siyahkal, Stupid World, Docile, Skeletal Fragrance, and Traumatizer. It’s been another strong year for gigs, more coming for 2026!

The inevitable naughty/nice list returns, here's everything that made 2025 livable, concise as I could be. Tell me why I'm wrong in the comments?!

I also put together a Noods show that includes a track from most of these, listen to it and then cancel your Sp*tify sub?!

P.S. Live Music is pppretty cool too, check it out sometime?!
