🎓✨ Four years ago, I began my college journey at Baruch College. After my first semester, I made the difficult decision to transfer to Lehman College. At the time, I wasn’t sure where that decision would lead me, but looking back now, it was one of the best decisions I could have made. ❤️💙

The past four years have been filled with growth, challenges, sacrifices, and accomplishments that I never could have imagined when I first stepped onto a college campus as a first-generation student. 📚✨

I’ve spent countless nights studying for exams, completing assignments, balancing work and school, participating in internships, taking on leadership roles, building lifelong friendships, networking, and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. There were days when I felt unstoppable and days when I felt completely overwhelmed. 💼📖💻🤝

One of the hardest moments of my college journey came in late 2023 when I lost my dog in a terrible accident. 🐾💔 Anyone who knows me knows how much my dog meant to me. Losing him shattered a piece of me that I didn’t think could ever be repaired. For a long time, I felt lost. I questioned everything. There were moments when I wanted to stop going to school altogether, give up on my goals, and simply let myself fall apart.

But somehow, even through the grief, I kept going.

I got up for class when I didn’t want to. I completed assignments when my heart wasn’t in it. I continued showing up for myself even when it felt impossible. And little by little, I found strength I didn’t know I had. ❤️‍🩹

Today, I stand here as a college graduate because I refused to let my hardest moments define my future. Every obstacle, every setback, every tear, every late night, and every challenge became part of the story that brought me here. 🌟

I am incredibly proud to graduate from Lehman College with a double major in Accounting and Marketing. 🎓📊📈 As a first-generation college graduate, this achievement means more than I can put into words. This degree is not just mine—it belongs to my family, my support system, my mentors, my friends, and everyone who believed in me when I struggled to believe in myself. ❤️
