Two years ago, I was laid off from my โ€œbig girlโ€ tech job. Today, Iโ€™m launching my 4th commercial interior design project in Los Angeles, CA for @lashesonfleek_ ! ๐Ÿฉท Itโ€™s crazy how life can completely redirect you. At the time, I had no idea that losing the 10+ year career I had built would lead me to creating a career and business that feels even more aligned with who I am. Now, I genuinely couldnโ€™t imagine doing anything other than what I do today, so being in LA and seeing this project come to life felt so surreal. To see a design that started as something I drew with my own hands, after so many late nights coordinating with my overseas vendors and contractors, finally come together in real life is a feeling Iโ€™ll never get used to. Iโ€™m so thankful to Nia for trusting me with this opportunity. This project challenged me creatively in the best way and pushed me to elevate my work even further. Iโ€™m so happy, so grateful, and incredibly excited for whatโ€™s ahead.
