If you know me or if you’ve been following me for long enough, then you know how important it is to me that we celebrate & lift up all women! Regardless of race, the color of your skin, or who you choose to love. We have nothing but love & support for ALL people.

Also, if you know me, then you know how important the Latin/Hispanic culture is to me & my family. It’s a culture that I have loved from a young age & have been incredibly lucky to be a part of the last 11+ years. It’s important that we always lift up one another but I think even more so now, especially after these past few years, it’s even more important that we support, love, honor and respect this community.

Welcome our newest 3 month old pal! He’s the sweetest while also doing the absolute most at the same time😂 But I guess to be expected being a Husky/Malamute mix, he will definitely be our biggest drama king of the house🐺💅🏼

save this post for later to pull out your check list if you’re strugglin’ ✏️

have you...

• checked your humidity and temperature levels? remember, higher humidity & temp = faster dry time AND lower humidity & temp = slower dry time (higher = faster, lower = slower) 🌡

• turned on your humidifier or dehumidifier to create the ideal environment for your adhesive 💧☀️☁️

• adjusted your adhesive to suit your current environment (i always keep 3 adhesives on hand to ensure i’m able to adapt on the spot!!)💫

• checked your placement - ensure you’re attaching at least 2mm of your fan base & wrapping when possible to secure retention!!! lashes can’t stick unless they’re properly adhered! 🔎📏

• applied @lashboxla glue aid - think of this as your 911 call... not a permanent fix, but a great option when you’re in dire need of a faster dry time!! ⏰

• secured retention with @lashboxla bond - this is the BEST final step to maximize your clients’ retention. make sure 3-5 minutes has passed since your last fan before applying to prevent shock polymerization 💦

don’t sweat it babe, retention is a constant uphill battle for allllll lash artists. you got this!!! 🦄🌈💓✨

How to properly clean and reuse 👇🏽

Immediately after each use, clean with warm water and antibacterial soap. Then soak in disinfectant for 10 mins OR wipe with an alcohol pads . Air/ Pat dry before putting back in the tin holder.

We’ve all seen the eyelash extension removal videos that are beyond satisfying to watch, right? The lashes all glide off the lash line in one nice piece...✨chef’s kiss ✨

Unfortunately, that’s not always the case, and there’s a few reasons why:

•Excessive glue usage
•Severely improper isolation
• Remover not sitting long enough

Acetone is the main active ingredient in our removers as it breaks down cyanoacrylate. If we don’t allow the remover enough time to be able to break down the adhesive chemicals, we are left with many remaining extensions or adhesive residue on the lash line. Not a super satisfying removal ❌🙅🏼‍♀️

However, in this case, this set contained a lot of excessive adhesive and improper isolation around the entirety of the lash line. This resulted in a ✨tricky✨ removal that required just a bit of extra TLC. I knew from the beginning I most likely wouldn’t get that satisfying full removal video, BUT THAT’S OKAY!!

Prioritizing the health, safety, and comfortability of our clients is always the number one goal 🥰🫶🏼
