#artvsartist2025 🛝 ➡️ for a trip down memory lane with me! (Yap session below)
.
It’s been a wild ride, but I hope we can all say we’ve grown a lot this year even if it’s against our will. 2026 will likely be a sh*t show too, but if there’s anything to look forward to is that I’ll be drawing more and that brings me peace. From Chicago, to Bulgaria, to Copenhagen, and Vienna, and back to Chicagoland. I’m grateful for my family and friends for supporting me along the way. I cant ever say I got to where I am all on my own, and I relearn that every year. S/o to all the new followers too, idk wtf im doing but thanks for coming along on the ride. Alright that’s enough, love yall and see ya next year! 🫡

I hate scary games, but my sister and my best friend keep forcing me to play them. Silent hill 2 was alright tho. Anybody got a scary game they like?

How’s does this social media thing work!?
I tell you a few updates, share my thoughts, be cute, sassy, and cool… RIGHT…

Updates… I’m still working hard in community to spotlight and uplift where and when I can with the most intentional and supportive human ever

I’ve successfully cocooned myself within a group of folks who honestly been by my side since day 1
- I finally stop fighting their unconditional love
Those who want to be around, will always make the effort, especially during hard times 🫶🏾

I’ve been working hard on understanding and honoring my upbringing by having honest conversations with my mom and dad while also allowing myself to sit still and listen in to my grandparents speaking to me and thru me.

I’m finally feeling comfortable and inspired to teach yoga publicly again
Just one….sweet…little 90minute evening class on a Sunday *eyyyyy*

This last year for me @labchicago has been a very safe and healing place
It felt like my yoga beginnings all over again

Thank you @chrisgilmoreyoga for the warm welcome and heated classes that started out chill 🤔
My retired run legs are always grateful

Starting next Sunday, like ever Sunday, 😌 your girl is teaching at 4:30pm

Class sign up in bio

Now yall already know if I’m teaching yoga - the next thing is 🎥

Sincerely THEE Ms. Karla Huffman 🙋🏽‍♀️

A Black Womxn - in real time
Unwavering boundaries
Unshakable intuition
A love affair with my wants and needs
Processing every interaction on my time
You see it…
I feel it…
And enjoying every moment of it

As of late
Car concerts with chosen family to daydream about WHATEVER WE WANT

Creating new stories to write ✍🏽 while laughing so hard cause life is one big character development

Trying to explain for the 100th time
“Negronis ain’t it…no matter what you add to that Fuxkboy classic drink!”

Completing a half marathon and letting the world know
What a cute moment that I’ll never EVER do again

Learned that poetry and making me dinner is the only way I accept lovers
*At this time no longer accepting applications*

Top of 2023, I felt and said “everything I’ve ever planned to do, I have done”
While my friends listen quietly being like “ok gurrrrlll cause you’re surely can’t be still”

My new language… It’s time for me to do the things I’ve always wanted to do

For me, by me
I shall produce the thing that brings me joy and the only person giving me the headache or disappointment will be me!
