What a fun and unforgettable weekend @dance_ustd Melville 💃✨ Feeling so grateful for my amazing dance family @horizonsdancecenter —thank you for all the love and support you’ve given me throughout the years, it truly means everything to me ❤️ A huge thank you as well to my incredible teachers @lindseygirl @kc_castellano @_miss_amandaa for your guidance, encouragement, and for always pushing me to be my best. I loved dancing on stage with my friends and making these memories together—it was truly the best time and I’ll cherish it forever 🫶✨

i don’t think i will ever find the proper words to describe what dance has done for me since the age of 3 years old. dance has always been and will always be a constant in my life. dance has taught me discipline, what it truly means to work hard, pushing yourself past your limits, to fight hard for what you want and most importantly what it feels like to genuinely love what you’re doing. i can safely say i would not be the person i am today without the life lessons, challenges, all the ups and downs, and all that dance has thrown at me the last 18 years of my life. the people that i have come to know because of dance are special ones. every single one of my best friends to this day are all friends that are connected to dance in some way. i mean it wholeheartedly when i say all the blood sweat and tears were worth every second and i would not change a single thing. i could not be more grateful spending my entire life doing something so special and i can’t believe that it all is over in the blink of an eye. dance has shaped me in every single way and there is nothing else in this world i could imagine dedicating all these years of my life to. i would not have wanted to end my competitive dance career absolutely anywhere else. college dance team is unlike anything i have ever done before. you really don’t know how special it is unless you are apart of it. the past 4 years at hofstra was nothing short of the most rewarding way to end my competitive dance career and i would not trade the people, the memories, the laughs, the cries, the wins, the hard times, and all the good times for absolutely anything in this lifetime. although this may be the end of my time as a competitive dancer it will certainly never be the end of dance for me, just a new chapter. and lastly to the little girl who went on stage and never wanted to come off thank you for never giving up, and thank you for the most incredible journey.
