Global Groove: Mixtapes, Vol. 1
Sat Nov 7 · 9 PM–1 AM · Pono Ranch, Ballard · 21+

Before playlists, there was the mixtape: songs chosen one by one and passed from hand to hand. Tapes carried music across borders and brought people together through it.

Mixtapes is a new Global Groove series in that spirit: two selectors, two sides, two hours each. Long sets that tell a story, with room to hang, talk and discover.

Side A: Afro House, by @ngoma_numuya
Side B: Acid Techno and Latin American Dark Wave, by @lasserette

Early $10 (first 30 only) · Advance $15 · Supporter $20 (more goes to the artists) · Door $20
